Happy 5th Anniversary to The Ramblers!

This year marks a very special milestone for The Ramblers, who are celebrating their 5th Anniversary. Over the past five years, the group has become a wonderful part of our community, bringing people together through friendship, companionship, and a shared love of exploring new places and creating lasting memories.

To celebrate this important occasion, members recently enjoyed a fantastic day trip to London. The group received a warm welcome at the Embassy of Ireland, where they were treated to refreshments and had the pleasure of meeting Ambassador Martin Fraser.

They also enjoyed a fascinating tour of the Embassy building, learning more about the strong connections between Ireland and Britain.

The celebrations continued with a leisurely stroll through the beautiful surroundings of St James’s Park, giving everyone the opportunity to relax, chat, and enjoy the sights of the capital. The trip was a fitting way to mark five successful years of friendship, adventure, and community spirit.

The Ramblers have gone from strength to strength since their formation, providing members with opportunities to stay active, socialise, and discover new places together. Their enthusiasm, camaraderie, and welcoming nature have made the group a valued part of the Birmingham Irish Association family.
