Business Networking – Bringing Irish Business Together

Good people, great connections, and a little bit of Irish magic!

Are you Irish, have Irish roots, or simply part of the Irish community?

Do you run a business, big or small, or have a passion for what you do? Then WMI is for YOU!

We’re delighted to launch West Midlands Irish (WMI), a new business networking initiative supported through the Emigrant Support Programme (ESP), funded by the Irish Government through the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and delivered via BIA. (download summary here)

The Irish Abroad Unit in the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade manages and coordinates the ESP. Since its establishment in 2004, the programme has supported more than 900 organisations across 53 countries, with grants totalling over €265 million. Now, we’re bringing that support closer to home in the West Midlands!s.

📍 Where are we kicking things off?

At the home of BIA – The Irish Centre, Kings Heath, Birmingham.

What’s it all about?

Bringing Irish business owners, entrepreneurs, professionals and the wider Irish business community together to connect, share ideas, build relationships and open doors to new opportunities.

Whether you’re a one-person operation, a growing start-up or an established business, we want you there! All generations of the Irish community are welcome, and every business sector is invited.

🍀 Expect friendly faces, fresh connections and a relaxed atmosphere with a real taste of Ireland. No stuffy suits or awkward small talk required – just good conversations, shared experiences and opportunities to help each other succeed.

💼 And don’t forget your business cards! You never know who you might meet, what ideas you might share, or where your next big opportunity could come from.

Come along, make connections, support Irish business and be part of something exciting!

☘️ WMI – Irish roots, West Midlands connect, business without borders.

We can’t wait to welcome you!
