Discover new skills, make friends, and build your digital confidence!

Our Silver Surfers group at BIA is a welcoming and friendly space for anyone aged 50 and over who would like to develop their digital skills, learn something new and enjoy spending time with others.

Silver Surfers session

Taking place every Wednesday from 10:30am, our sessions offer the opportunity to learn together, share experiences and build confidence using technology in everyday life.

Whether you’re looking to improve your existing skills or try something completely new, everyone is welcome!

Silver Surfers session

Recently, our Silver Surfers took part in informative and engaging sessions exploring the pros and cons of using ChatGPT. Members discovered how AI can help answer questions, support learning, and provide useful information, while also discussing the importance of using these tools safely, positively and effectively.

Our sessions are all about learning in a relaxed and supportive environment, meeting new people and enjoying the benefits of developing new skills together.

Interested in joining us? Everyone over 50 is welcome, and we’d love to see you there!
