Meet Ravinder Gill

Ravinder has worked for Birmingham Irish Association for a year as our Activities & Wellbeing Worker. Her role involves working on the Social Inclusion Project for over 50's.

This includes planning, organising and leading activities that improve the mental and physical wellbeing of members so they can live healthier lives.”

Activity sessions

They are mostly free activities around Birmingham to help the physical and mental wellbeing of over older adults who are seeking looking to make friendships, improve their health and share fun moments with others. We are able to support over 80 people per week.

“We are so pleased you do these activities with us they are so good for our mental health, and we wouldn’t get out the house otherwise.” - Service User

“I am looking forward to reaching out to a wide range of people from different areas and backgrounds to make them feel connected again and to improve their self-confidence and sense of belonging.” – Ravinder
