Birmingham Irish • September 26, 2023

Over the next few months, we will be giving you all an insight into our wonderful team of volunteers here at Birmingham Irish Association - without these amazing individuals it would be impossible for staff to provide our daily services.

Read Peter's Story Below…

MEET OUR VOLUNTEER: Peter Costello

"I was interested in volunteering for an organisation in my local area plus it was helping the Birmingham Irish Community. I volunteer 1 day a week at Cotteridge Dementia Centre and once a fortnight at the BIA front office.

"I have been here around 2 years now. Ive met some great people and enjoy getting involved in different BIA activities."

'Peter can turn his hand to anything within the office and is a truly very welcomed help! We love to hear the stories of his travels and it brightens up our day!' - Catherine Kelly (Front Office Manager)
