John’s run for our minibus

Birmingham Irish • July 25, 2025

Our minibus driver John Mulry joined the Birmingham Irish Association (BIA) family as an employee in January this year.

Helping Hands - BIA Minibus

John picks up the service users of the Dementia Centres and takes them to their selected centre. He keeps them entertained on the way and when he arrives he supports them in completing the daily activities.

John has been a great asset to the Birmingham Irish team and especially to the Dementia Centres. He has built good relationships with those he supports, and everyone has a smile on their face when he is around.

BIA Health Day January 2025

Unfortunately, our minibus has been in the garage and requires quite a lot a work which has left John with no bus and he has been unable to pick anyone up. John is continuing to support the centres during this time but he really would like his bus back.

John will be running the Solihull Half Marathon, and his sponsorship will help us with the cost of the repairs and the ongoing maintenance of the bus, so we are able to continue to provide our much loved and needed service to those living with Dementia.

Any donations are welcome here: www.givey.com/johnsrunfortheminibus

Please be sure to wish John all the best in his run, and we thank him wholeheartedly for running for our bus.

John's run will take place on Sunday 10th August 2025

“Good Luck John – From everyone here at Birmingham Irish Association”
