Meet Rosie Pocklington


Rosie has worked for Birmingham Irish Association for 20 years, providing advice, information and advocacy for the Irish and wider community on issues such as benefits, housing, return to or arrival from Ireland, Council Tax, HMRC, Irish and UK pensions, social services, neighbour issues, where to get help with family matters etc.

She also runs an outreach service at Father Taaffe House and The Homeless Health Xchange.

  • Completing and supporting benefit applications 
  • Contacting social services 
  • Information about services in the UK & Ireland 
  • Supporting at benefit tribunals 
  • Researching and signposting to appropriate organisations
