Birmingham Irish Association brings the brand new Irish Village to Pairc Summer Series

Birmingham Irish • September 23, 2025

The dust has settled… What a weekend! We are proud to announce that Birmingham Irish Association brought a brand new Irish Village to the incredible Páirc Summer Series, and we’re still buzzing from it!

From the smell of fresh soda bread to the sound of trad music echoing through the festival grounds, we packed a lot into one unforgettable weekend such as :

  • Live soda bread making sessions
  • Accordion, tin whistle & bodhrán workshops
  • Irish language taster classes
  • Trad sessions in our lively trad tent
  • GAA shoot-out competition
  • Official O’Neills jerseys for sale
  • Irish sausage baps & traditional food and drink all weekend long

From everyone here at Birmingham Irish Association we would like to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who made this possible:

💚 The Páirc Summer Series team – thank you for believing in the Irish Village and giving us the platform to showcase our culture.

🎻 Jobe & Aida from Ceol Creatives – your energy brought the trad tent to life and made it a true highlight.

🗣️ Terri, Caroline & Marian – thank you for sharing the beauty of the Irish language with so many curious learners.

🍞 Bridget & Tracey – your soda bread workshops were a massive hit and smelled (and tasted!) amazing.

🙏 Georgina Moseley – thank you for visiting the Irish Village and representing Help Harry Help Others, spreading important awareness within the Irish community.

🙌 To our incredible BIA staff and volunteers – your dedication from setup to takedown made this entire experience possible. We couldn’t have done it without you.

This weekend was more than an event — it was a celebration of Irish culture, community, and connection. We’re proud to have shared a piece of Ireland with you all.

Go raibh míle maith agaibh!

Until next time…
