Our Outreach Music Project

Birmingham Irish • March 25, 2023

This month our Culture, Sport and Heritage Project Officer Sinead and our Outreach Music Teacher Jobe went to Bishop Challoner to deliver a taster session of our current music project.

The students had a fantastic time, and the teachers got involved too!

The taster session was a massive success.

Due to the success of the taster session, we are delighted to announce Birmingham Irish Association will now be delivering weekly sessions to Bishop Challoner School students.

Our wonderful music teacher Jobe delivered the first outreach music session. The sessions were fantastic and the children really engaged in the lesson within smaller groups.

Our music teacher Jobe is very passionate and has already achieved so much progress from his current students in Abbey Primary. We are really looking forward to seeing the progression and confidence in the students over the weekly sessions and working closely with Bishop Challoner School.

We are very lucky to have Jobe teaching many students around Birmingham and bringing Irish Culture and music to individuals on a weekly basis.
