Extension of our tablet entertainment library service

Birmingham Irish • July 18, 2020

Even though lockdown has eased for many across the city and nationwide, many vulnerable people are still shielding to keep safe.

We understand just how hard this can be, especially as we have already spent an incredible amount of weeks inside and tire of the usual non-routine that quarantine brings. This is why we will be extending our tablet entertainment library service.
This adapted service allows us to download a wealth of media entertainment in the form of film, TV, magazines, ebooks, games and other apps to tablets (complete with data plans) and lend to those who are shielding for a certain period of time on a rotational basis.
We hope that this will boost wellbeing and joy for those who are still stuck at home, and help to eliminate the inevitable loneliness and boredom that lockdown brings.

If you know of someone who is feeling isolated whilst shielding and who would benefit from this service, please let us know by calling 0121 457 5105 and we can add them to our lending list.
